Phalanx Patriotic Movement — A national-syndicalist organization representing the Third Position in Uruguay. Patriots and Phalangists united. Neither left nor right, but the THIRD POSITION!
Overview
The Human Being
Within our movement, the individual holds central importance. As a bearer of timeless values, the person is not simply another component within an abstract collective as Marxism suggests, nor should they be governed by plutocratic capitalism. Instead, we advocate for interclass cooperation. The individual forms the cornerstone of society, possessing inherent rights that we pledge to defend unconditionally. We go beyond mere declarations that remain only on paper. We believe in authentic human rights. We believe in life itself and in our Nation. We reject this inefficient, inconsistent, and contradictory system. A clear demonstration of its failures is the sanctioning of attacks against human life. Abortion, which stems from neoliberal ideology, clearly shows how the system fails. How can one claim to defend life and liberty while simultaneously defending the termination of unborn children? We refuse such hypocrisy.
Social Justice
We aspire to achieve a comprehensive social revolution. We envision a homeland free from caste systems, a nation supported by cooperative and syndicalist society and economy. Concepts like class struggle and proletarian dictatorship must be prohibited, as they undermine our Nation's unity. Similarly, our revolution must dismantle capitalist society — the plutocratic system that enslaves both workers and employers, forcing them into mutual hostility and leaving them vulnerable to communism.
We support collective ownership. We do not fall into the Marxist error of denying individual property rights entirely. We understand private property not as an absolute right (as in economic liberalism), but rather as a limited right that must serve a social function. The state will facilitate all possible means for developing family, communal, and syndicalist property.
Democracy
First and foremost, we must understand that we do not embrace the concept of democracy as practiced by the aristocracy and their demagogic practices. We are democrats, and we declare this openly and clearly — unlike those who accuse us otherwise. José Antonio Primo de Rivera affirmed that every political science aims toward a peaceful, democratic, and just life. In contrast, the democracy we currently inhabit is not the product of ideology, but of demagogy and partisan interests. In our 'democracy,' party interests take precedence over everything, including the Nation itself.
We live under a partisan regime, not a democratic one. A restructuring and constitutional reform is necessary so that we can finally achieve genuine democratic life. Representatives must come from the places and sectors through which national life primarily flows: Families, municipalities, universities and other educational institutions, and national defense. Our defense of political pluralism is based on the individual above all, not reduced exclusively to political parties.
Homeland and Nation
We Phalangists hold a profound and comprehensive sense of patriotism. For us, the Homeland comes before everything. We clearly understand that the Homeland is fundamental — it unites us. We combat absurd ideas like class struggle, fueled by Bolshevism, plutocracy, and neoliberalism. Rather than seeking to divide our country along class lines, we understand that for the nation to function properly, all are necessary and we must work together for the Nation's wellbeing. The lower, middle, and upper classes must work together, respect each other, and commit to the homeland.
As previously stated, we aspire to social revolution. In this revolution, feelings of hatred and resentment among our compatriots will come to an end. We must unite under the banner of our grand Immortal Homeland and work proudly for it. Against hatred among compatriots: unity, cooperation, and syndicalism.

It is wonderful to see national-syndicalism spreading throughout the world, especially the Hispanic world. I hope and expect these seeds to take root so they grow and bear beautiful fruit someday soon, both across the Ocean and on this side.
I very much appreciate the synthesis of National-Syndicalism that these Uruguayan Phalangists present, which is very clear and well-expressed, in my opinion, which is fundamental for spreading it among people of good will, predisposed to the Phalangist way of life, who must constitute the driving and guiding force of the National-Syndicalist Revolution wherever it is undertaken.
Congratulations on the birth.
Franco did not corrupt the Falange, since it did not exist from the unification, that is, from 1937. Franco was not a Phalangist and I, correspondingly, am not a Francoist. Besides, talking about Franco now is looking backward, and the Falange must look forward with head held high.
Regarding Julio Anguita, they say around there — no one confirms it — that he was infiltrated in the Falange by order of Carrillo. It is also known that the Youth Front and Youth Phalanges were the favorite place for old "reds" because of their more revolutionary character.
They also say, without any confirmation, that he wanted to be a Carmelite, that he was an applicant to the Zaragoza Military Academy and the civil guard, and that he obtained his teaching certificate while at the José Antonio Leadership School.
The ineffable Anguita does not say that Franco corrupted the Falange, but rather that he corrupted the Phalangists. I have never seen why an insult (to the Phalangists), as the little phrase in question is, should be considered as a reference by the insulted (the Phalangists). A fine insult, yes, we won't deny that, we're not going to ask the magpie to behave like an eagle.
Anguita's position, like many others, is that of the Pharisee who in the temple, looking at the sinner who dared not raise his head, exclaimed: "I thank you because I am not like other men, rapacious, unjust, adulterers, nor even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week, I give a tithe of all my earnings...." No comment.
Our dear comrade Richi should notice who signs the comment. It is Julio Anguita, former general secretary of the Communist Party. This portal is communist? Well, not really. I suppose it has been published for what it has in recognition of José Antonio and the foundational Falange.
The book by FRANCISCO TORRES that I am finishing reading speaks extensively and well-documented about the relations between Franco and José Antonio and the relations between the Falange and the Army before the outbreak of the civil war.
I would very much like Richi to be on Saturday at the book presentation. Richi, a hug and we await you.
I have already commented on many things about the Falange and its projection in Latin America and I wish you the best and at the same time a request since I am nobody, everything that is national-syndicalism I will applaud and collaborate with you. But I don't need the header note that criticizes Generalissimo Franco, as a corruptor of the Falange. Not only is it a falsehood, since a person who is a declared monarchist and not a Phalangist cannot be charged with that supposed corruption, and I also want to remind you that many thousands of current Phalangists are heirs to the teachings he allowed during his long Government and that the collaboration of authentic and true Old Shirts managed to elevate Spain to ninth place worldwide. And with that initial note you put, you offend many who like me respect his memory. Up Paraguay!! Long live Hispanidad!! Up Spain!!
A strong embrace to the oriental comrades and brothers
These comrades under the direction of Ariel Barrientos and Diego Callejon are doing magnificent work in Uruguay, and like other comrades and other Hispanic American national-syndicalist Organizations such as the Mexican Phalangist Front, Colombian Phalangist Alternative, or Peruvian Falange of the Revolutionary Union, as well as Patriotic Movements close to the Falange like Pax Brasiliana, or comrades from Argentina, or Venezuela. All of them already integrated into the Hispanic American Phalangist Bloc. Fighting for the implementation of national-syndicalism in Latin America where it is already beginning to bear fruit.... Greetings and Up Hispanidad.
I hope that this Hispanic American Phalangist Bloc bears fruit and takes example from the Spanish to know what NOT to do. You know, unity above all, service (he who serves is worthy), and the good of the Homeland.
Up the Hispanic American peoples! Up Spain!
Best wishes for success to these Uruguayan comrades who today begin this great task of the URUGUAYAN PHALANX PATRIOTIC MOVEMENT. Hispanidad makes us all brothers. We share a great culture, which together we must contribute to humanity. From this side of the pond we salute you with raised arm and hope to learn of your activities periodically through this national-syndicalist portal open to the world. Up Hispanidad.
