Upcoming Krak Discussion: Perspectives on Contemporary Spanish Affairs - Part II
On the upcoming 7th of June, Friday, at 7:00 PM, we will be hosting another session of The Sign of Krak discussion series. Following the recent presentation at the Ateneo de Madrid featuring the latest work by Ceferino L. Maestú, we are eager to resume our regular dialogue series. This session's focus will be "Contemporary Spanish Perspectives - Part II" — marking our second exploration of this compelling subject. For this particular gathering, we're relocating the Krak discussion to the headquarters of the Hermandad de la Vieja Guarida, situated on Cuesta de Santo Domingo.
We are pleased to welcome Gustavo Morales, José Cabanas, Jorge Garrido, and Pedro Cantero, who will examine the broader stance regarding the challenges and questions that confront us today. Our goal is to analyze Spain's current situation and formulate our responses to the most pressing demands facing our society.
As has become customary with our discussions, active participation from attendees who wish to contribute will be not only welcome but actively encouraged. This collaborative approach allows everyone to share their perspectives and proposals, fostering a debate that unifies criteria and combines collective will.

I've visited the website for La Alternativa en Movimiento and noticed three new additions: the Asociación Fe y Trabajo, the Unión de Abogados (featuring the television personality Montserrat Suárez among others), and the Hermandad de la Vieja Guardia. For me, the latter is the most significant due to its close ties with Fe-la Falange. I hope that this June 22nd meeting yields positive results within the blue movement — at minimum, it will have been attempted.
By the way, the congress organizers announced that documents would be published this week. It's Friday afternoon and I'm eagerly awaiting them. Keep up the good work!
It's excellent that we're concerned about funding sources. I've examined Hispana Vista's accounts and proposed to the comrades managing it that this cost should be assumed by people who identify with Hispana Vista's mission or by our organizations.
I believe Hispana Vista is one of the serious endeavors we have and we must support and enhance this blue portal of ideological thought as much as possible. We must do this collectively, because it's our medium of expression and communication.
It's not my place to answer these questions, and I'm confident the comrades who maintain and support this portal will provide information.
One final reflection: I recall words from Luys Santa Marina one afternoon in his office at the Vieja Guardia in Barcelona: "Our comrades were willing to risk their lives in the streets for the cause, but when it came to paying dues, they weren't so enthusiastic. This deeply troubled José Antonio." Perhaps this tendency goes way back. I've always kept these words in mind and they're true. It's never too late to change course.
Comrade Ramiro, this comment likely stems from José Cabanas's very clarifying speech at Ceferino's presentation at the Hermandad del F.J. in Barcelona.
Cabanas clearly and courageously stated that some individuals were aligned with the movement despite being members of Opus Dei. He also clarified that Opus Dei members could support any football team or hold any ideology that wasn't anti-Catholic. He explained this very well, though some may not have understood or chosen not to understand.
In Barcelona, Cabanas is identified as the director of Hispana Vista. Having said this, and to avoid sensitivities, it would seem appropriate to know which party or group is funding a portal that, regardless of this, has been providing a great service to relations and understanding among like-minded individuals.
Without wanting to offend or start a controversy: Can anyone tell me which organization funds Hispana Vista? I've read on Facebook that it's something financed by Opus Dei, but from what I've been reading, that doesn't add up.
Hispana Vista is a portal financed by "The Smurfs," who apparently (according to some) advocate for questionable ideologies despite wearing blue. Seriously speaking, we shouldn't pay the slightest attention to what's barked about in various internet gossip circles.

Regarding Hispana Vista's funding, little can be insinuated: this costs very little and among a few comrades (less than the fingers on one hand) the maintenance costs are covered. Almost always it falls to the same person, as it seems that asking for help is considered shameful. The scarcity of resources dignifies the portal in some way. Those who have wanted to help have done so quietly, on their own initiative and when absolutely essential. At month's end we always receive notice that we need to add a few euros or they'll "shut down the edition," like what happened to La Codorniz during censorship years. But this doesn't sadden us, because the garment is becoming too small for the creature due to its surprising growth.
Of course, this bothers some people. And the fury of insinuation is unleashed. What can we do! But lies, slander, whining about others' success (envy), and all that have very short legs. Sometimes it can even be an honor to receive the spittle of "inferiors" for being on the side of José Antonio and his cause. In any case, nothing new under the sun. As I say: an honor. And let the dwarfs continue drooling.
A servant of comrade Ferruz is not the director of this portal. I have some presence, but there are two young people who carry almost the entire load of the blog, without appearing in any header. As it should be.
A bad tree always bears bad fruit. If the fruits are good, the tree is good. And since we're visible to all, let each judge us as they see fit. If we worked for ourselves, we might even complain sometimes. Those who don't want to understand this, so be it. The source of insinuation is inexhaustible, José Antonio said. We won't be better than him. So we're delighted to face the same setbacks, because it's an unmistakable sign that we're on the right track.
We won't give more space on this website to these little matters, nor will we allow them to distract us from the task.
ERROR. The email address in the previous message has an error. Thanks to the comrades from Zaragoza I noticed it. tertuliahfjb@gmail.com. Apologies and thanks.
Hispana Vista followers would appreciate the publication of a video from this upcoming discussion. I want to call on comrades residing in capitals where discussions are not yet organized to get things moving.
Discussions that started with half a dozen attendees within three or four months are already counting on around fifty people in attendance.
We need to make up our minds and get started. In all cities there are municipal venues available to cultural organizations.
Any comrade who wishes to organize a discussion in their city can get in touch and we'll provide all the necessary information. All it takes is one person with the will to set it in motion. tertuliahfjb@gmial.com
Congratulations to the Madrid comrades, much encouragement and great success.
